A diet rich in fruits and veggies provides vitamins and minerals, important for supporting growth and development, and for optimal immune function in children. Emerging science suggests fruit and vegetable consumption may help prevent weight gain and be an important aid to achieving and sustaining weight loss.

Limit Screen Time

Are you looking for more time to do the things you love? Give yourself that time by limiting leisure screen time.  Whether it’s catching up with an old friend, reading that book you never seem to get to, taking a walk, or something else, don’t miss out. And you know what, families that focus on active alternatives to passive screen time share stronger bonds and their children develop longer attention spans making them better problem solvers.

If you could do one thing that would increase your life span and your quality of life would you do it?  What if that one thing could lower your stress, improve your mood, and help you sleep at night.  One hour of exercise can do this. Add a friend and you are on your way to building stronger relationships to go with that healthier body.

Eliminate Sugary Drinks

Sugary drinks have been associated with kidney disease, liver disease, excess weight, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Join those who’ve kicked their sugary habit and found they have fewer headaches, more energy, more stable blood sugar levels, and weight loss.  Oh yes, and more money in their pocket.
